Transform a girl’s life believes that every dream and goal is achievable if you out in place the right amount of work. Using the lives of our volunteers and mentors, our aim is to empower girls in the community using our personal stories and those of iconic female change makers in Kenya and globally. We focus on each individual dreams and provide them with relevant information and other options as well. Our focus is using the available materials; education and talent to propel girls to greater heights, then follow up annually to know the progress.

Menstrual Hygiene Management is an essential aspect of hygiene for women as well as adolescent girls, however it’s often an overlooked discussion in many communities. In Kenya, roughly 50-65% of girls do not have access to proper sanitary products forcing them to use unhygienic alternatives such as cow dung, rugs, leaves, plastic papers and cotton wool. Our aim is to provide long term period products in a bid to end period poverty, reduce the rates of transactional, ensure each girl has a safe and comfortable period as well as prevent any girl from missing school during their periods.
At Transform a Girl’s Life we greatly strive to END PERIOD POVERTY through charity drives ,advocacy ,volunteerism, technology and innovation.
This objective is mainly to create understanding of why education for the girl child is important. When the girls are aware of how far their education can take them and work hard to achieve or attain excellent grades, they are able to plan for a better future for themselves and create positive change in their community and further impact the lives of the younger generation.
The community is given vast information on the menstrual hygiene both male and female for better understanding. The girls are deeply educated on the sexual and reproductive health and rights.
Our aim is having girls able to understand their puberty as well as know what menstrual products are most suitable for their flow.
Knowledge is power! We believe in educating the girl child on menstrual and feminine hygiene boosts their confidence and improves their reproductive health. The girls are also sensitized on the dangers of engaging in early sexual relationships and early marriages and how it affects their goals and future.
Our program provides counseling especially to girls who have gone through or are going through life challenges such as lack of school fees, depression as well as traumatic experiences. Mentorship is provided to young girls who are about to get into puberty and those already in it.
We provide coaching sessions that effective for educative purposes on life, financial independence, leadership, public speaking, contraception. Through online forums, seminars, workshops and roundtable discussions.
